Hall of Fame Inductee - Steve Morrison

While a student at Wilfrid Laurier University, Steve put all rivalry aside and started a co-ed cheerleading team at the University of Waterloo in 1987. His infectuous enthusiasm for cheerleading and life made him a great ambassador for the sport! As head coach of the team from 1987 to 1989, he assembled a close knit group of athletes and instilled in them a love for cheerleading that for many lasted years beyond graduation. For getting the program off the ground and starting the strong tradition of co-ed cheerleading at the University of Waterloo, Steve was presented with the Footprint award and inducted into the University of Waterloo Cheerleding Hall of Fame.
