Hall of Fame Inductee - Gerrat Rickert

Gerrat joined the team in 1988 was a strong presence in the program for the next 15 years. As an athlete, he was part of the team that took 2nd place at Nationals three years in a row. Gerrat loved stunting and it was not surprise that he stayed around after graduation to help out with the team as an assistant coach. His easy going demeanor made him a favorite of all athletes and added a lot of fun to the program. During his time as assistant coach, Gerrat trained dozens of athletes, passing on his love of cheerleading to everyone. For his contributions to the team over the years, Gerrat was inducted into the University of Waterloo Cheerleading Hall of Fame and presented with the Footprint award.
